Photography

Painting is just one of many forms of art. It is by far my favorite, but sometimes photography is simply the best medium to choose when trying to capture a certain subject. Both forms are creative and use a distinct set of skills. Both are difficult to master. Today I have a set of photos that range back to 2020. One photo for each year. I would love to be in my studio right now, but when the place does not have heat (and I live in the mountains) it can become extremely cold out there. Photography can be done inside and does not result in frozen fingers.

It would not be proper to start off this list with anything other than a picture of my favorite pup. Christmas is her most special time of year and in this photo, she is wrapped all cozy in a Christmas tree skirt. Don't you just love that face! She is so photogenic.

The two babies are not mine and I do not know who they belong to, but they were in a pasture close to a main road, and they were just begging for their picture to be took. I eagerly complied.

This is an important room in a famous building in one of the best well-known cities in the U.S. And I got to visit once. Actually, one of my paintings was displayed in this building for a whole year.

The Albuquerque International Balloon Fiesta. This was not my first time on the field, but it is the only time I remember because I was too small the "first" time. This is not at night; this is at 6:00 in the morning. There are very few ways you can get me up that early. Number one, Christmas morning. Number two, Balloon Fiesta. Number three, every morning at Camp Blue Haven.

You really cannot get much better than a cat resting on the Word. Brand new Bible + year old kitten = NEW BED! He is so comfy:)

What can I say about this one other than it was an epic sunset, and I just had to capture it. God is a much better artist than I am.
